Printer: Kyocera Mita KM-2550
Operating System: Linux – Fedora Core 19 (Schrödinger’s Cat)
Architecture: x86_64

Step 1
Identify the model, protocol, ip address and port of network printer.
You can retrieve the information by referring to Printer Preferences – Port in Windows environment.

Step 2
Download PPD (Postscript Printer Description) for your printer model.

Step 3
Add Printer through CUPS.

Step 4
Printer is added and will be listed in Setting – Printer.
Printer options can be configured both through CUPS or Setting.
Print a test page to confirm printer is working.
